John "Todd" Armstrong (July 25, 1937, Missouri – November 17, 1992, Butte, California), also known as Todd Anderson, was an American actor in ten films and several television series, probably best known for playing the titular role of Jason in the 1963 film Jason and the Argonauts. He had also starred, during 1961, in the later segments of the syndicated crime drama Manhunt, with series star Victor Jory. Todd Armstrong was born on Sunday, July 25, 1937, as John Harris Armstrong in the U.S. State of Missouri. His zodiac sign was Leo, and in Chinese astrology, his sign was that of the Ox. Armstrong was a member of the 1958 class of the Pasadena Playhouse College of Theatre Arts. His classmates included Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman. His earliest known video work was on the TV series Manhunt, during 1961, in 13 of the later episodes. Todd Armstrong was an early-1960s leading man who is best remembered for his work in the title role of the fantasy epic Jason And The Argonauts (1963).
