Taylor Hanson (born Jordan Taylor Hanson; March 14, 1983) is an American musician best known as a member of the pop rock band Hanson. He sings both lead and backing vocals, and plays keyboard, percussion (including bongos and the tambourine), guitar, and piano. He is also the lead singer of supergroup Tinted Windows. Taylor sings and plays keyboards and the piano with the band Hanson. He and his older brother, Isaac, started the band, initially known as The Hanson Brothers (later changed to just 'Hanson'), in 1992. Isaac was eleven, Taylor nine, and Zac six. They performed as an a cappella group outside clubs in their hometown of Tulsa. On May 6, 1997, the band released their third (first on a major label) studio album, Middle of Nowhere, on a major record label, Mercury Records. The first single, "MMMBop", made it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. May 6 has been declared "Hanson Day" in the brothers' hometown of Tulsa, in honor of the release of Middle of Nowhere.
