Sylvester Groth Movies and Career Information

Sylvester Groth (born 1958) is a German actor and tenor. He is perhaps best known to English-language audiences for appearing in Quentin Tarantino's 2009 film Inglourious Basterds, in which he portrayed Nazi Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels. He also portrayed Goebbels in the 2007 German film Mein Führer – Die wirklich wahrste Wahrheit über Adolf Hitler, directed by Dani Levy. Groth was born in Jerichow, East Germany. He starred in the 1993 German war film Stalingrad.
