Susan Lynch (born 5 June 1971) is an actress from Northern Ireland. Lynch was born in Corrinshego, Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland to an Italian mother and Irish father. Her brother is actor John Lynch, she has a sister, Pauline, who is a drama teacher in St Pauls High School in Newry and a brother Seamus. She is married to the actor Craig Parkinson. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, and in August 2004, she was starred in The Night Season at the Royal National Theatre in London and in 2008 was one of the leads in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at the Almeida Theatre. She is currently starring as Agnes in Dancing at Lughnasa at the Old Vic Theatre in London. On 3 December 2000, she received three Irish Film and Television Academy Awards, including Best Leading Actress for her work in the film Nora.
