Stratton Leopold is an American film producer. Leopold is currently Executive Vice President of Production at Paramount Pictures. Leopold was born in Savannah, Georgia, the son of Marika (née Minakakis) and Peter Louis Leopold. He owns an ice cream shop in Savannah, which has been in his family for generations. The shop, Leopold's Ice Cream, was designed by Academy Award-nominated production designer Daniel A. Lomino. Leopold was assigned as unit production manager and executive producer of J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. Before it began shooting, however, Leopold dropped out of the movie and has been replaced by Jeffrey Chernov. Nonetheless, he did receive credit in the film as a Unit Production Manager.
