His credits include appearances in films like A League of Their Own, Cry Baby, and Baby Mama, and the television shows Gilmore Girls and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Mailer was born in New York City, New York, the son of novelist Norman Mailer and stage actress Beverly Bentley. His was married to producer Lindsay Marx.
