Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal (pronounced /ʃəˈkiːl/ shə-KEEL; born March 6, 1972), nicknamed "Shaq" (/ˈʃæk/ SHAK), is an American professional basketball player for the NBA's Boston Celtics.
