Sara Niemietz (born 1992) is an American singer/songwriter and actress located in Los Angeles. Niemietz was born in Chicago. In 2000, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. She attended Saugus High School in Saugus, California. In 2002, Sara made her Broadway debut at age ten when she played young Carol Burnett in the play Hollywood Arms with a cast including Linda Lavin, Michele Pawk, Donna Lynne Champlin, and Frank Wood. Renown director, Hal Prince, commented that Sara, “possesses an extraordinary voice and acting honesty, and a personality that leaps across the stage.” While in New York, Sara played the lead role of Pamela in Pamela's First Musical, a musical adapted from the book by Wendy Wasserstein (music from Cy Coleman and David Zippel). Ms. Wasserstein called Sara “an astonishing performer.” In 2006, Niemietz released her first album, "Live at the Cat Club," which included live recordings from her set at the Cat Club. Sara teamed up with acclaimed producer John Boylan in 2008, for her second release, an EP entitled Without a Net. Niemietz's voice can be heard on a multitude of recordings.
