Rory Kelly is an Irish football goalkeeper, currently playing for Finn Harps in the League of Ireland First Division.
Born August 7, 1991, he is product of Buncrana Hearts's youth system. After a successful spell with Buncrana Hearts, Kelly was invited to join up with Derry City academy team for their Foyle Cup winning campaign. After this, Stephen Kenny signed Kelly for his first team squad for the 2010 season.
After two years at Derry, Kelly was released by new manager Declan Devine, having started studying for degree in Journalism at John Moores University in Liverpool. In April 2012, Kelly joined Finn Harps on a one year deal. He made his debut in a 3-1 win over Longford Town.
Kelly is the only player to have ever won the CFAI Umbro Colleges Cup (with Institute of Technology, Sligo in 2009) and the Carnegie Schools Cup (with North West Regional College in 2010) in back-to-back seasons. He is also a freelance journalist.
