Rafael Morais (born June 25), 1989, is a Portuguese actor. Morais began acting at the age of 14, he studied at the Professional Theatre School of Cascais, Lisbon. Rafael Morais made his debut as a film actor in 2008's Doomed Love directed by Mário Barroso, Portugal's official submission to the Best Foreign Language Film Award for the 2010 Academy Awards followed by How To Draw A Perfect Circle directed by Marco Martins who also directed the critically acclaimed film Alice, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival receiving several international awards and making the long list for the Academy Awards Best Foreign Language Film Award. Morais has also done some theatre work, including a 2007 production of "The Kitchen", by Arnold Wesker, in the Experimental Theater of Cascais and "The Party" directed by Pavol Liska and Kelly Copper - Nature Theater of Oklahoma. Morais is currently living in Los Angeles. Rafael speaks fluent English, Portuguese, French and Spanish. In 2009 Rafael Morais received the L'Oreal Best Young Actor Prize at the Estoril Film Festival. His twin brother Edgar Morais is also an actor.
