Rachel Anne McDowall (born October 4, 1984) is an English actress who made her debut in 2008 film Mamma Mia! The Movie. McDowall was born Rachel Anne McDowall on October 4, 1984, in LiverpoolEngland. She graduated from Laine Theatre Arts college in Epsom. She started out loving drama in Wade Deacon High School, in Widnes, Cheshire. She made her film debut as Lisa in Mamma Mia! The Movie, the film based on the same named musical, which is based on the songs of famous Swedish music group ABBA. The film was premiered on June 30, 2008, in London. Rachel also appeared in the UK's first 3D feature film "Streetdance 3D" playing the part of Isabella."Streetdance 3D premiered in London May 10th 2010 and then hit the cinemas around the world summer 2010. It was a great UK box office hit, pushing out Disney's "Prince of Persia- Sands of time" and Russell Crowe's "Robinhood". Currently McDowall is filming "The Stranger". An independent feature, Directed by John Craig Howells, in which she will play the lead role in the up and coming romantic thriller. McDowall has a supporting role in the movie Quantum of Solace as Anna. She appeared in The Bill as Nurse Maria Joseph, a love interest for PC
