Nicolas Wright (born March 23) is a Canadian actor. Wright is graduate of both the John Abbott College Professional Theatre program and the British American Drama Academy’s ‘A Mid Summer in Oxford’ program. He began his career on the stage as one of the founding members of the multi-award-winning theatre company Gravy Bath Productions. In 2003, his portrayal of the title role in The Portrait of Dorian Gray at the Saidye Bronfman Centre earned him a nomination for Best Actor by the Montreal Critic’s Circle. Over the last few years he has appeared in numerous television series and feature films, including Touchstone’s The Greatest Game Ever Played and New Line Cinema’s King’s Ransom. He has played leading roles in several productions; the award winning series Delta State (Award of Excellence, Alliance of Children and Television), the award winning feature film Hatley High (Best Director/Best Screenplay, Aspen Comedy Festival) and in End of the Line (Official Selection, Toronto International Film Festival).
