Mia Sarapocciello (born June 19, 1967), better known as Mia Sara, is an American actress, best known for her roles as Ferris Bueller's girlfriend, Sloane Peterson, in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, as Jean Claude Van Damme's wife Melissa Walker in Timecop, and as Lily, playing opposite Tom Cruise in Legend. Sara was born in Brooklyn Heights in New York City. Her father Jerome was a photographer and artist, and her mother Diana a stylist and also a photographer. She attended St. Ann's School.
