Kristina Anapau (born October 30, 1979) is an American actress and model. Anapau was born and raised on the island of Hawaii, the daughter of a scientist and an artist. Shortly after graduating from high school at fifteen and entering the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, she was cast in the Oahu-filmed television movie Escape From Atlantis; that was the start of her career in show business. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Skidmore College in New York. Before gaining success as a film and TV actress, Anapau had intended to become a classical ballerina, having trained seriously since the age of 5. Anapau apppeared in 2010's Black Swan, from director Darren Aronofsky, opposite Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Winona Ryder, and Barbara Hershey. She will also be starring in the paranormal thriller, The Speak, alongside Tom Sizemore, which has just completed filming and is set for a 2011 release. Anapau starred with Christina Ricci and Jesse Eisenberg in the Dimension Films thriller Cursed, directed by Wes Craven, and also appeared in the films Madison, starring Jim Caviezel and Academy Award Nominee Bruce Dern, the indie "Self Medicated" (winner of 38 international film festivals)
