Katheryn Winnick (born December 17, 1977) is a Canadian film and television actress. Etobicoke-born Winnick, who is of Ukrainian descent, has appeared in numerous studio films including Paramount's Failure to Launch (with Matthew McConaughey) and New Line's Amusement. She has guest starred in multiple critically acclaimed television shows including House M.D. ("One Day, One Room"), Law & Order, CSI and Criminal Minds. Winnick stars opposite Paul Giamatti in the dramatic comedy Cold Souls, which had its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2009. She completed filming Oscar winner Rob Legato's directorial debut Choose (with Kevin Pollak and Bruce Dern). Winnick won silver medals at the Canadian National tae kwon do finals. Winnick appears on the Fox drama Bones as Hannah Burley, a war correspondent who had been posted in Afghanistan and a love interest for Special Agent Seeley Booth.
