Kari Corbett (born 16 February 1984, Paisley, Scotland) is an actor, artist and film-maker who lives and works between the USA and Europe. As an actor, Corbett is best known for her roles as Nurse Marian McKaig in ITV's The Royal, Zoe in Monarch Of The Glen, Kirsty Henderson in River City and Sarah in the BAFTA award winning Jeopardy. Corbett trained at the Scottish Youth Theatre. Corbett will appear in David Mackenzie's new feature film You Instead, (UK, 2010), released on September 16th, 2011. Corbett's produced, directed and performed second short film, If Only I Was Simone De Beauvoir, (USA, 2010), has recently been nominated for Best International Short Film 2011 at The Glasgow Film Festival. Corbett's first short film, Uncontrollable Joy For Life, (USA 2010), has been shown in various film festivals, including the Chicago Underground Film Festival 2011.
