June Diane Raphael is an American actress, comedienne and screenwriter known for appearing in films such as Year One and Going the Distance. She most recently co-starred in the Spike TV comedy series Players in 2010. After graduating from New York University, Raphael began regularly performing with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater (UCBT) in New York and Los Angeles. At UCBT, her work included the long-running sketch show Rode Hard and Put Away Wet, written and performed alongside her comedy partner and best friend Casey Wilson. The successful two-woman stage show went on to become a official selection at HBO's 2005 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado and also won Raphael & Wilson the ECNY Award for "Best Comedy Duo" in 2005. The duo's writing partnership has since branched out into films, they co-wrote the screenplay for the 2009 comedy Bride Wars, which they also appeared with supporting roles. The writing duo has also worked on script rewrites for upcoming comedic films for Anna Faris and America Ferrera.
