Jon Foster (born August 3, 1984) is an American actor. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the 2004 film The Door in the Floor, the 2006 horror movie, Stay Alive, and co-starring opposite Jenna Elfman in the cancelled CBS comedy Accidentally on Purpose. Foster was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of restaurant owners Gillian and Steven Foster. He has an older brother, Ben, who is also an actor, and who has described their parents as "free-spirited, Vietnam-protesting hippies". Foster was raised in his father's Jewish religion. His paternal grandmother emigrated from Russia to escape Pogroms in 1923. His family relocated to Fairfield, Iowa after their Boston home was burglarized while they were present.
