Joan M. Blair Movies and Career Information

Joan M. Blair (née Dunbar, born August 24, 1960) is an American character actress perhaps best known for her roles in the films Donnie Darko and LolliLove. She is sometimes credited simply as Joan Blair. She enjoys doing improvisation and all forms of comedy. Blair was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in the 1960s. She attended the Herbert-Berghof Acting Studio in New York City, the University of Missouri, and California State University at Northridge, receiving a BFA from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California. Blair has also appeared in quite a few graduate thesis films at some of the top film schools in Los Angeles. These include, "Codename: Simon" at the American Film Institute and "Eating" and "Pretty Dead Girl" at USC film school.
