Jenny Lumet (born 2 February 1967) is an American actress and screenwriter noted for her award-winning screenplay for Rachel Getting Married. The film was directed by the Oscar-winning director Jonathan Demme. The daughter of noted filmmaker Sidney Lumet and journalist Gail Lumet Buckley, and granddaughter of Lena Horne (now deceased), she began her career in acting, turning only recently to screenwriting. She was married to actor Bobby Cannavale from 1994-2003. They have son Jacob(1995). She married Alexander Weinstein and they have daughter Sasha(July2008).
