Jaume Collet-Serra is a Spanish music video, commercial and film director.
After moving from Barcelona to Los Angeles in 1993, Collet-Sera went to film school. After graduation, he broke into the film industry as an editor, and eventually moved his way up to directing commercials and music videos.
Some of his commercial credits include spots for Smirnoff Ice, Mastercard, JT Roots, Pontiac, Playstation, Budweiser, Miller Lite, 7UP and Renault. He has directed music videos for Enrique Iglesias and Seth Freeman's band Little John.
In 2005 Collet-Serra made is film directing debut with the horror re-make House of Wax, starring Elisha Cuthbert, Chad Michael Murray and Paris Hilton. Though widely panned by critics, the film did reasonably well at the box office, and went on to earn $68,766,121 worldwide. Collet-Serra helmed the European football sequel Goal! 2: Living the Dream in 2008.
