Ione Skye Lee (pronounced /aɪˈoʊni/; born September 4, 1970) is an English-born American actress, who became a teen idol after 1989 movie Say Anything.... In 2006 VH1 placed her at number 84 in the "100 Greatest Teen Stars" list. Ione Skye Leitch was born in Hertfordshire, England, and is the daughter of Scottish folk singer/songwriter Donovan and model Enid Karl (née Stulberger). Her mother is an American of Jewish descent. She is the sister of Camp Freddy singer Donovan Leitch, who is married to former model Kirsty Hume. Skye was raised in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Connecticut, and briefly attended Hollywood High School for the Performing Arts in 1987. Skye had a relationship with Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis. Her first husband, Adam Horovitz, is a member of the Beastie Boys.
