Ignacio López Tarso (born Ignacio López López, January 15, 1925) is a Mexican actor of stage, film and television. He is considered as one of the country's finest actors. Ignacio López was born in Mexico City. His parents were Alfonso López Bermúdez and Ignacia López Herrera. He lived his childhood in several Mexican cities besides Mexico City, such as Veracruz, Hermosillo, Navojoa and Guadalajara, due his father’s job. His siblings are Alfonso and Marta.
