Hiten Tejwani (born March 5, 1974) is an Indian television actor from Mumbai, India. Hiten Tejwani was born and brought up in Mumbai. He was always passionate about acting. He started his acting career by performing in the ‘Ankur Theatre Group’ and went onto act in various street plays. He faced the camera for the first time in the serial “Ghar Ek Mandir” which was aired on Sony Entertainment Television. This was followed by “Kabhie Sautan Kabhie Saheli” and “Kahiin Kisi Roz. The central character of Pratham in “Kutumb” for Balaji Telefilms turned out to be a winning role for him. After Kutumb, he was seen in the popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Karan Virani. Hiten was born and brought up in the suburbs of Mumbai, Borivili. His brothers Hitesh and Nitin Tejwani are also part of the Indian Television industry. Hitesh is a director(having directed shows like Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi and Ek Ladki Anjaani Si) whilst Nitin is an editor. Hiten is a Graduate in Commerce from Jai Hind College, he was pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy till he joined a theatre group, Ankur and has been part of many street plays.
