Gillian Vigman (born January 28, 1972) is an American comic actress. Vigman is most notable for her membership in the recurring cast of comedians on sketch comedy series MADtv. She also starred in the ABC comedy, Sons & Daughters. Currently, Vigman has a supporting role on The Defenders. Vigman was born on January 28, 1972 in New Jersey, where she attended The Pingry School. Vigman graduated from Colgate University in 1994. While at Colgate, Vigman was one of the earliest members of Charred Goosebeak, the school's improv comedy troupe, performing alongside fellow members such as noted Ocean's Eleven and Matchstick Men screenwriter Ted Griffin, Dukes of Hazzard director Jay Chandrasekhar, and the professional improv comedy troupe Broken Lizard. Afterwards, Vigman started her professional comedy career in Chicago working for The Second City. Prior to joining the cast of MADtv, Vigman toured with The Second City National Touring Company in 2000, to launch its 20th Anniversary Season. Vigman is married to musician Dave Gibbs, a member of the band Low Stars. They welcomed their first child, a boy, in September 2009. Vigman first appeared on MADtv in the eighth episode of the Eighth
