Georges Wilson (7 October 1921 – 3 February 2010) was a French film and television actor. Wilson was born in Champigny-sur-Marne, Seine (now Val-de-Marne). His professional surname, Wilson, derives from "his Irish grandmother, who died when Lambert's father was 11". His birthname has not been made public. His son is actor Lambert Wilson (born 1958). He was nominated for a BAFTA Film Award, and also nominated for a César Award. Georges Wilson's last film was Mesrine: Public Enemy No. 1 (Mesrine: L'ennemi public n°1). Georges Wilson died in 2010, aged 88, from undisclosed causes.
