Emily Beecham (born May 1984) is a British and American film, television and stage actress who, since the start of her career in 2006, has amassed over thirty credits, including the leading role of a postulant nun embarking upon life in an unconventional convent, as seen in director Jan Dunn's independent film, The Calling. Upon its premiere in June 2009 at the Edinburgh Film Festival, she was chosen by the Festival's artistic director, Hannah McGill, as one of the recipients of that year's Skillset Trailblazer Awards, bestowed upon a select group of young actors considered "new discoveries" and potential stars.
