Elizabeth Hawthorne Movies and Career Information

Elizabeth Hawthorne ONZM is a New Zealand-born actress best known for her role as Mrs. Macready in the 2005 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the Peter Jackson supernatural comedy The Frighteners. She played Judge Harriet Caldwell in the 2004 TV movie, Raising Waylon. She is the mother of actresses Sophia Hawthorne and Emmeline Hawthorne, and wife of actor Raymond Hawthorne. Hawthorne was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2001, for services to the theatre. She played the voice on Cleopatra 2525. She also guest starred as Prelate Annalina Aldurren on Legend of the Seeker. She currently has a regular role as Ngaire Munro/West in the smash-hit New Zealand TV series Outrageous Fortune.
