Dong Jie Movies and Career Information

Dong Jie (born April 19, 1980) is a Chinese actress and dancer. Dong made her debut in Zhang Yimou's Happy Times (2000), where she played a blind girl mistreated by her stepmother. Zhang selected Dong after a casting call on the Internet. Her most famous role to date is "Leng Qingqiu" in The Story of a Noble Family, adapted from a novel by Zhang Henshui. In 2008, Dong married actor Pan Yueming. The two have their first son in 2009.
