David "Dave" Legeno (born 12 October 1963) is an English actor, boxer, and mixed martial artist. Legeno was born in Marylebone, London, England. He has been quoted as saying that he wanted to act since he read William Shakespeare's Richard III. He later studied performing arts at a college in America before he began to have roles in advertisements. Legeno worked as a bouncer, debt collector and wrestler before becoming a boxer. His wrestling nickname was Lone Wolf. Legeno's first major film role was in Guy Richie's Snatch. Since then he has had roles in Batman Begins, Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Centurion. He played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He also lent his voice to the videogame The Getaway: Black Monday. Legeno is versed many combat styles including Western boxing, wrestling, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai. He began his professional MMA career at the age of forty-two at Cage Rage 14. Legeno is currently living in South England with his daughter. His interests include poetry, reading and playing the guitar. He has said that his goal is "To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield."
