Chris Geere (born Christopher William Geere on 18 March 1981) is an English actor. He best known for his role as King Edvard/Eddie in the The Prince and Me sequels. Geere lives in Putney, London. Geere attended Peter Symonds College. He was primarily interested in a career as an artist until a drama teacher at his school encouraged him to try out for a school play. He fell completely in love with acting and, as he put it, "haven't thought to do anything else since." Geere's stepfather works as a teacher at Four Marks Primary School, Four Marks. He portrayed the character of Matt Wilding on the BBC TV series Waterloo Road. In January 2009, just as the fourth series of Waterloo Road began airing, Geere said that he would not be returning for the fifth series. However it is unknown how his character will be written off. In 2003, Chris was also a barman at the Wayside pub/restaurant in Guildford. On week 2 of auditions on The X Factor UK 2009 Chris is seen cheering on Jamie Archer. In 2009, Geere will reprise his role as King Edvard/Eddie in The Prince and Me 4. In 2010, Geere will play Pete's roommate Kurt in Pete Versus Life.
