Caroline Aaron (born August 7, 1952) is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her role as acid-tongued talk show host Mary Pat Lee on Wings. Aaron was born as Caroline Sidney Abady in Richmond, Virginia of Jewish heritage. Her mother, Nina Friedman Abady, was a civil rights activist in the American South. She attended American University in Washington, D.C., studying performing arts. Aaron has been married to James Foreman since 1981 and they have two children together, Ben and Sydney. Her elder sister, Josephine Abady, a theatre director and producer, died from breast cancer on May 25, 2002, aged 52.
