Brooke Leon McCarter (born April 22, 1963) is an American actor of film and television noted for one of his earliest roles as Paul in The Lost Boys in 1987, alonside Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Dianne West, Alex Winter, Jamison Newlander and Barnard Hughes. McCarter has also appeared in films such as Thrashin' in 1986, Wired in 1989, The Uh-oh Show in 2009, and has made television appearances in shows such as The Twilight Zone. McCarter was born and raised in Woodland Hills in California, United States. He is the son of a teacher and a lawyer. McCarter is married to French-born Swiss actress Irène Jacob, whom he married in 1999, after co-starring with her in the 1998 film Incognito. They shared two children, their first in 2002, and their second in 2007. Incognito was also the second film where McCarter starred alongside Jason Patric. Brooke is the elder brother of Jason McCarter, who was born in 1966.
