Alison Brie Movies and Career Information

Alison Brie (born December 29, 1983) is an American actress best known for portraying Annie Edison on Community and Trudy Campbell on Mad Men. Brie was born in Pasadena, California. The daughter of a Jewish mother, Brie began her career acting onstage at the Jewish Community Center in Southern California. She graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a bachelor's in theater. Prior to becoming a television actress, Brie had worked as a clown at birthday parties, and performed in theatre in California. For a time, Brie studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland. One of Brie's first television roles was the minor character Nina, a novice hairdresser, on Hannah Montana. She then went on to star in the web series My Alibi. Brie auditioned and was chosen for the role of Trudy Campbell in Mad Men. She plays Annie Edison on Community. On April 15, 2010, Brie co-hosted G4's Attack of the Show. Brie has also appeared for a short segment on the G4 show, Web Soup. She has a role in the upcoming film Montana Amazon. She made Maxim's 2010 Hot 100 list at number 99. She has a role in Scream 4 in April 2011.
