Ali Fazal (Hindi: अली फज़ल, born 15 October, 1986) is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood movies and can be caught on stage too. Ali Fazal, studied at The Doon School, Dehradun, where he really found his love for theater. He contracted the "acting virus" at the age of 16. At school he took a keen interest in not only acting but writing scripts for plays as well as directing them. Fazal gave a breath taking performance in Girish Karnad's "Hayavadana," and several others which, by their response gave him the right push in the direction of theater. Mumbai was destination next for Ali. He studied Economics at St. Xavier's College during which he continued to pursue his love for acting. He was seen as a protagonist in the play "Crab" by Arghya Lahiri, "Duck Variations" by David Mamet, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?", "All about my Mother" and "Proof". During the time he was also seen in ads for Pizza Hut, Union Bank of India, LG, Slice and Micromax Mobile which made him a popular face on television as well.
